Fathoms of fun at our Gala on the Sea!

Oh, what a night!

It’s great to have good times that remind you who your friends are.  The Walking Fish Theatre Gala On The Sea was not only a great party, but a tremendous outpouring of support from our friends and sponsors.

It couldn’t have happened without all the local businesses that supported us. The food at our Gala was a treasure trove of delicacies. Sweet and savory treats were donated by Las Cazuelas, Hot Potato Cafe, Johnny Brenda’s, Bistro Juliana, Otolith Sustainable Seafood, Cornerstone Market & Produce, International Food Distributors, Port Richmond Thriftway, Stock’s Bakery, EKTA Indian Cuisine, Quince Fine Food and Wegman’s Food Market.

We weren’t able to capture photos of everyone, but here’s a few. If you attended the Gala and got any great pictures you’d like to share, please let us know!

The Dan Ramos Trio provided Latin dance music that had everyone feeling good. Katharine Livingston provided a thrilling chair dance and the Rigor Mortis Revue performed grim comedy from the darkest depths.  What an unequaled night of merriment, and we can’t thank you enough for sharing it with us.

Finally, we’d like to congratulate the winner of our season-long Scooter Raffle. The winner of the Kinetic TFR Moped from G-Team Racing is William J. McKeon III. Congratulations, Bill! Long may you ride!

  1. Thank you to all the volunteers Asaki, Vince, Javier, Cate, Johnny, Jessica, David for all your help! Jessica was a terrifically slippery mermaid! More thanks for all the businesses and artists who donated items for our Silent Auction, Live Auction and Raffle events! Thanks to Nancy of PBC for bringing and slinging the beer! Nick from Gray Kangaroo for getting us shipwrecked! All the great food, entertainment and all the people who support the theatre arts in our community! We can’t do it without you!
